Elizabeth Anderson Seattle

Hello!

I’m Elizabeth (most people call me Beth) . It’s so great to meet you! I grew up in a tiny peninsula town about an hour from Seattle. It was a “Friday night lights” sort of town and was a fun place to be a kid. Growing up in a place that gave me room to roam and the opportunity to develop a lot of different interests is something I will never take for granted. This corner of the country is so beautiful and I am so lucky to have always called it home.

I am an introverted extrovert. I love people, but I also find a lot of comfort and calm when I am just with my closest people. I am an empath and a Libra that looks for balance, peace, and equality (every time I remind my kids that life isn’t fair, I am reminding myself as well).

Things about me… I love the water. I was raised around boats and have carried that into adulthood. I love boating with my family. I also learned to surf in the cold waters of the Washington/Oregon Coast. Being near the water is very soothing for me.

Soccer is my favorite sport to watch and play. I was a college athlete (Go Seattle University) and I still enjoy playing the game when I have time. My daughter has taken to the sport as well so most of my time around soccer these days is spent is being her #1 Fan :) .

I love to travel and see new places with my family. My wife and I are dreaming up places to go all of the time. I believe perspective comes from seeing the world and I love to photograph people and places we have the opportunity to visit.

I love to read (my degree is in English Literature) and you will see me reading a wide variety of genres. I think fantasy would be my least favorite though.

I love being a mama. My 3 are amazing humans. I always knew I wanted to be a mom. I love newborns and would have a million if they stayed that way :) I will admit that I felt more unprepared to parent older kids but I am finding this phase to be equally as rewarding as a parent. I often learn a lot from our discussions about how they see the world.

Photography of course makes the list. Even more than loving photography though, is what photography allows me to share with others. It allows me to create and show my clients how beautiful their own unique stories are. I had no idea where getting that first kit camera after my first son was born would eventually take me, but if life is anything it is unexpected. All of the unplanned twist and turns though, have led me right where I am supposed to be. I truly feel there is some magic in that.

Again, it was so nice to meet you :)
